The reason I want to do it is due to the problems I'm having getting the OpenStack instance properly talking to the Calxeda servers due to a known OpenStack bug, and the cx tools only work with 12.10 or later. Yep. I was of the same opinion as everyone else. I think I'll work on the iptables possibility for now. There are some hints around on the web that this is a way around the problem.
