Hi All,
It seems we have broken LDT with the documentation updates.
I cannot reproduce - line 53 in the current conf.py is a comment.
Our install tests confirm this issue. Sometime on November 11th the LDT installation stopped working.

I don't see the same error in those logs. Just the normal sphinx complaints about import errors which are always ignored by sphinx and l-d-t.
"/srv/lava/instances/production/var/www/lava-server/static/docs/_src/conf.py", line 53, in <module>
import lava_server
ImportError: No module named lava_server
This was an attempt to use versiontools to pick up the lava-server version into the documentation but is only used in the manpage generation which l-d-t ignores.
l-d-t itself uses a static version: http://staging.git.linaro.org/lava/lava-deployment-tool.git/blob/HEAD:/doc/c...
lava-dispatcher and lava-server use the same: http://staging.git.linaro.org/lava/lava-dispatcher.git/blob/HEAD:/doc/conf.p... http://staging.git.linaro.org/lava/lava-server.git/blob/HEAD:/doc/conf.py
The only place versiontools is used and where there is an import of lava-server is in the manpage generation which l-d-t should not be doing.
I've just upgraded playground using current l-d-t without errors. We've also seen no problems with staging or with local upgrades. (The documentation step is run on both upgrades and installs in the same manner.)
The manpage change went in on the 8th.
