I'm using idlestat on a quad-core machine. There is only one cluster. I didn't implement cpu-map node in cpus node of device-tree file. My cluster id is read as -1.
It incurred idlestat assert failed. Need we judge this condition in idlestat? Or must we write cpu-map node in our dts file?
Very likely you have to define the cpu map in the dts file, otherwise it is a partial support. Other userspace tools rely on the topology also.
