I tried building Ard's patchset with the upstream kernel yesterday, but had it break with

is that with an otherwise clean tree? These lines are conditionally compiled only if CONFIG_GENERIC_EARLY_IOREMAP is set, which should not even exist for ARM.
(Note that this version of EFI support does not rely on early ioremap support)
