Hi all,
I'm canvassing opinion on whether I should upgrade gateway to 12.10. The reason I want to do it is due to the problems I'm having getting the OpenStack instance properly talking to the Calxeda servers due to a known OpenStack bug, and the cx tools only work with 12.10 or later. Of all the servers we've got, gateway is the one that doesn't need to be like all the rest.
Thoughts?
Thanks
Dave
We're going to be talking about test case management in LAVA at the
Connect. I've brain-dumped some of my thoughts here:

Comments welcome. But if all you do is read it before coming to the
session, that's enough for me :-)

Just the one. We seem to be steadying out at around 1 health check failure every 48 hours at the moment.

The repeated wget failure issue again. Put back online to retest. Obvious way to fix this is reboot if deployment fails. Seems to get round it every time.
Thanks

Hi all,
Looks like I need to do an upgrade and reboot of the cloud nodes as one seems to be permanently down (lava-cloud04) and the quotas seem a bit messed up. I'll do this around 15:00UTC unless I hear any arguments against.
Thanks
Dave
Hi all,
I've got some serious concentrated work to do on the Calxeda servers tomorrow so will be working from home.
Thanks

Hi -
Here's a draft specification for some small, cheap hardware devices
would be useful in Lava to solve many interesting test scenarios that
can't be done without some small hardware assist.
I have some time to prototype these devices and scenario boards in the
next couple of weeks, but before starting I would like to get feedback
on the specification, particularly anything dumb ^^ or other interesting
tests that are not mentioned that are compatible with the basic approach
and could be piled on if thought about from the start.
Also, what is the status of the SD Mux thing currently? If it's
moribund I can look at that too; if not, great.

Hi, All
After I installed a lava instance and access it from browser, it says:
Bad Gateway
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
------------------------------
Apache/2.2.22 (Ubuntu) Server at 192.168.9.109 Port 80
And in the /var/log/apache2/error.log file, I can see following information:
[Fri Jan 04 13:04:37 2013] [error] [client 192.168.9.109] uwsgi: unable to
connect to uWSGI server: Permission denied
[Fri Jan 04 13:04:37 2013] [debug] mod_deflate.c(615): [client
192.168.9.109] Zlib: Compressed 311 to 235 : URL /fastmodel
Anyone know why and how can I make it work again?

Hi all,
This shouldn't make any difference to anyone, but I've just updated our
router configuration so that all http and https connections to the lab
go from the router to linaro-gateway rather than control. I think all
the virtual hosts have entries on linaro-gateway, but it's possible that
some sites have stopped working -- so do let us know and it'll be a
trivial fix.
If nothing seems to be broken, I'll remove the other virtual host and
ssl configs from control early next week.
Cheers,
mwh
