general rule of thumb: we stick to LTS for everything that is not a device under testing...

Hi all,
I'm canvassing opinion on whether I should upgrade gateway to 12.10.
No. HTH :)
The reason I want to do it is due to the problems I'm having getting the OpenStack instance properly talking to the Calxeda servers due to a known OpenStack bug, and the cx tools only work with 12.10 or later. Of all the servers we've got, gateway is the one that doesn't need to be like all the rest.
Thoughts?
This is all a bit messy. I guess we could install a quantal container on some system, maybe dispatcher01?
Is there a way we can work around that openstack bug by having the gateway as seen by the cloud be internal but have that gateway connect to the 'real' gateway somehow by iptables magic or something? This is getting beyond my networking knowledge really :/
Cheers, mwh
