Completing reviews so deployment can happen in the week beginning 21st Jan is good for us (as you suggest), as this is the week after release and gives two weeks to sort any issues out before we start merges again.

And remember: ensure that we can easily go back to old setup in case things fall apart and put our release at risk :)
