Those two [1], [2] components are essential to LAVA. If you encounter any unusual bugs on upgrade or fresh deployment please check if downgrading to django 1.3 fixes anything for you. In any case please report all issues or suspected issues on our bug tracker [3].

No, not yet.
For this release I'll stick to 1.3 and 0.7.3 respectively. For the next release everything should work on 1.4

I had some problems running locally when 1.4 was installed; I think the csrf_exempt decorator has moved or something? I was impatient to test other stuff though so I just downgraded to 1.3 and got on with things.
But yes, we should stick to 1.3 for now.
