Please help me to short out this issue.

Most work with LAVA is currently on Precise 12.04LTS. I develop on Debian (unstable) and test also on Debian Jessie (testing). It's not impossible that this is something specific to quantal but I see no reason why it should at the moment. I'll see if I can reproduce in a quantal VM. In the meantime, try switching to Precise.

I've just done a setup in a quantal VM (64bit) and there was no problem, lava-coordinator installed correctly.
The only thing I had to do was install software-properties-common to bring in the add-apt-repository support.
I can only assume it is some problem on your own system?
