Just got an update from Zen. The problem is at the C+W POP that is causing widespread problems in the area, not just for us. Some box in there just isn't passing packets through. They tried a remote reboot but that didn't fix it.
An engineer has been dispatched to the site, and they've promised to update me during the day.

I saw that this got fixed. Did the ADSL failover work as desired? I see that the pingdom report didn't mention any downtime.

yeah - I think everything just auto-magically worked. We should really give Dave some credit here. The whole transition to the leased line was painful and mis-understood. However, this non-outage is the first example of why we did this and why Dave's time was well spent.
