Thanks for the report. The kernel side fix for this has been picked up in a maintainer's tree [1] so it should be in Linus's tree soon then into stable shortly after that. This was already a problem in certain trees with CONFIG_KCSAN and __SANITIZE_THREAD__, I just made it a little worse ;)
