Hi Mathieu,
It is good that you are now convinced to move from Juno to db410c as a reference platform for CoreSight. I will be looking forward to it.
Of course, I will try to get things working on Juno r2. The Linaro 16.09/16.10 deliverables provide kernel 4.8.0-rc4 option (i.e. Linaro tracking kernel). I tried compiling from source enabling CoreSight config but somehow the kernel crash during boot up.
Some components of CoreSight on Juno are on the debug power domain which normally is switched off. I gets DStream connected with Juno via JTAG and then power on debug domain via DS-5 (specially is Debug Hardware Configuration).
But if I remember correctly, this shouldn't cause kernel crash.
I would suggest to use a released image [1] to run up Juno first, and then get the /proc/config.gz on Juno to you PC, then reconfigure your kernel source code based on the configurations just got from the running Juno, the thing maybe that there're some configurations have to be selected, but not included in the defconfig.
Hopes it would help.
Cheers, Chunyan
