Ok, so after you placed 'rootwait' in the kernel command line, the SD card is detected.

,but you are still getting some weird resets and errors.
Maybe you could try another SD card on hummingboard?
It does work well with the imx defconfig though, it's been solid there. Card detect gpio issues maybe?
