Hello All,
This may not news now, but I just found it this morning :)

I else noticed that STMicroelectronics is among the first licensees of CoreSight SoC-600, congratulations!
Cheers, Chunyan
Thanks for the sharing, even if Olivier and I belongs to ST automotive group, our subdivision Car processor still uses the previous coresight design (400) and were not aware as other sub-division(powertrain/ADAS...) integrated the 600 version in their SOC
I dispatch information for other collegues

Hi Nicolas,
I would like to take this opportunity to have a question for you :) I only know you have been using STM, and the use case you shared previously was really cool (I'm referring to that you output SW logs, ftrace, and kernel logs concurrently to STM buffer). I want to know if you or your colleagues have got ETM with perf tools and OpenCSD used on ST platform?
Thanks, Chunyan

Hi Chunyan
ETM with perf tool and OpenCSD framework : no Actually ETM usage has been processed with Lauterbach trace probe on a validation board (TPIU 16 bits available) For the evaluation board (TPIU limited) so in this case we just benefit of ETB, and here too we still use the T32 lauterbach framework (extraction & decoding).
Sorry to be not more "linaro spirit" :-[ for this coresight feature.

I understand, T32 is indeed a strong equipment. Actually I think you have used CoreSight very well, especially STM use case, I was so surprised that you had Ftrace exported to STM and decoded even when the patch hadn't been merged into mainline.
Thanks, Chunyan
