Thanks for this patch - could you please also mention in the commit log how did you find this? It looks like you ran checkpatch, but it's not clear from the commit log.
Since this patch does multiple things related to checkpatch warnings (change S_IRUGO to 0444, comments correction, function declaration correction), can I please ask you to change the commit title to also reflect that?
