Tor, Mike and others,
A thought dawned on me right after the openCSD meeting on IRC today...
From where I stand things are looking good. Mike has the decoding
part pretty much reined in and Tor is moving fast on the perf front. All that's left to do is putting things together, which is what this email is about.
Do you guys think it is a good idea to meetup somewhere before Bangkok?
Serge is away between the 15th and 19th of February - we could take that opportunity to meet up and work together on openCSD for a week. That would speed up integration and expose everyone to other components of the solution. What are your thoughts on that?
I am fully aware that respective company management would have to approve. We'd also need to find a location... Linaro has offices in Cambridge and Boston so that's always a possibility. We could also meet in Blackburn or Houston where ARM and TI are located.
Please think about it and talk to your respective management. Chunyan, you are welcome to join us.
Best regards, Mathieu

Given the relatively short time it might be worth picking somewhere where Chunyan already has a visa if that's possible and she's able to attend from a travel point of view (Chunyan, you might have one for the US that's still valid after Connect?)?

Yes, that's a very good point.
Hi Mathieu, Mark and others,
Many thanks for your invitations, I personally would very much like to join you, but I'm afraid I cannot be agreed for the business trip to US due to company budget problem :(
Hope you have a perfect hackfest!
Cheers, Chunyan

Hi Mathieu
Week of 15-19 Feb is good for me for a hackfest. Would be happy to come across to Linaro@Boston. ARM Blackburn is a small office and it would be logistically challenging to host here.

Boston in February? Brrr....
We have facilities to host here in Houston (much warmer), but I need to check the availability.
The ARM offices in Austin could work well too (temperature wise) if they have the appropriate facilities.

Yeah, Houston works fine too - slightly longer flight, but once on the plane doesn’t make much difference!

We are all set if you are still available. February 15th through the 19th at the Texas Instruments Sugar Land facility SW of Houston. I have reserved the room we have outside security, so we have one less thing to worry about. There will be a guest accessible wireless network. I will make sure you get credentials to use it.

I'm also all sorted out with regards to flight - now I just need to look into the hotels Tor suggested.

Super good - I'll start working on travel arrangements.
Thanks for the organisation, Mathieu

We are all set if you are still available. February 15th through the 19th at the
Texas Instruments Sugar Land facility SW of Houston. I have reserved the room we have outside security, so we have one less thing to worry about. There will be a guest accessible wireless network. I will make sure you get credentials to use it.

Yeah, Houston works fine too - slightly longer flight, but once on the plane
doesn’t make much difference!

I was secretly hoping for Houston... Tor please check on availability. Mike, would Houston work as well?

Boston in February? Brrr....
We have facilities to host here in Houston (much warmer), but I need to
check the availability.
The ARM offices in Austin could work well too (temperature wise) if they
have the appropriate facilities.

Hi Mathieu
Week of 15-19 Feb is good for me for a hackfest. Would be happy to come across to Linaro@Boston. ARM Blackburn is a small office and it would be logistically challenging to
host here.

Yes, that's a very good point. _______________________________________________ CoreSight mailing list CoreSight@lists.linaro.org https://lists.linaro.org/mailman/listinfo/coresight
