Is there already support for UEFI Runtime Services in the kernel? If not is this already planned for Linaro?
UEFI Runtime Services are necessary for exchanging NVRAM values with the UEFI environment. These NVRAM values provide the foundation for UEFI spec'ed functionality ranging from boot entry management to key management for secure boot.
Thanks,
Eugene
There is currently no support for UEFI runtime services in the Linux kernel. I don't know if anyone is working on it.
