Hi all,
I've created a new series of EBBR meetings; this time biweekly on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month based on the feedback I received on the Doodle poll.
First meeting today and the one topic on the agenda is pickup up from where things were left off in December.
Here are the dial-in details:
- Online meeting: https://arm-onsite.webex.com/meet/gralik01 - Phone - Access code: 809 053 990 - 1-408-792-6300 Call-in toll number (US/Canada) - 1-877-668-4490 Call-in toll-free number (US/Canada) - 44-203-478-5285 Call-in toll number (UK) - 08-002061177 Call-in toll-free (UK)

Notes from today's meeting. This was a short meeting and we mainly talked about getting the EBBR release process on track. In two weeks time we'll discuss post v1.0 content.

# 12 March 2018
## Attendees
* Andreas Färber (SUSE) * Rob Herring (Linaro) * Udit Kumar (NXP) * Grant Likely (Arm) * Tom Rini (Konsulko) * David Rusling (Linaro) * Yang Zhang (Linaro)
## Updates:
* 96Boards SOM spec will be requiring EBBR compliance when released at Linaro Connect in April. * SetVariable() language changes have been applied and a few minor editorial changes committed to the main repo. * Document is ready to be tagged "v0.8", and should pretty much be ready for a v1.0 release * Outstanding issue: The Appendix A implementation requirements is a carry-over from SBBR, and hasn't been scrubbed for the EBBR context * Grant to do an investigation, compare with what is implemented in U-Boot, and propose changes to the appendix to match * Might remove "Required boot services" section if it is just a 1:1 mapping of what is in the UEFI spec. Grant to investigate. * Might remove "required protocols" section". Need to compare with what is implemented in U-Boot mainline. * Probably will remove "options protocols" section entirely. It doesn't provide any additional value compared with UEFI proper. * Yang commented that it would be useful to have a description of what exactly is implemented in U-Boot compared with UEFI. Agreed would be useful, should be in a separate commentary document apart from the spec proper. * Not a blocking issue. Will still release v1.0 on time if this issue remains
## Release Plan:
* Tag v0.8 immediately * Tag v1.0-rc1 early next week if there are no further comments * Tag v1.0 after next meeting in two weeks time.
