The form won't let me change my email address, is there any way of fixing this? It insists on using my personal email address which I don't access on my work computer. (I'm guessing the form has picked the Launchpad single sign-on default email address which Launchpad won't let me change to my @linaro address)
This came up on #linaro yesterday. There are two parts to this:
(1) The form pulls your email address from https://login.launchpad.net/, not Launchpad proper, and the two bits of launchpad have different ideas of what your email address might be. So you may want to update login.launchpad.net so it has the same idea of your preferred email (which should avoid this kind of thing in future).
Changing this preferred email address gives an error. I tried reporting the issue to 'Login Support' several months ago but never heard back.
(2) However, once the connect website has picked up an email address from launchpad, it won't refresh it even if you update launchpad's preferred email. So you need to edit your email address in the profile page here: http://connect.linaro.org/wp-admin/profile.php Once you've done that if you go back to the registration form it should have the right email address.
The registration form still has my old email address, even after changing my address in the profile page. (I've double checked by logging out/in, shutting down my browser, and updating email address a second time.)
