For the benefit of Nico, and linaro tree maintenance - what is the status of this patch in mainline?

Before posting the patch here, I tried to post it in mainline mail-list, (linux-arm-kernel@lists.infradead.org). However, mx5's maintainer prefer to wait until common clk struct comes out, and then have this feature based on common clk struct.

Since we need this feature to demo and debug our user space tool, so I post it here hoping to get it into linaro's tree first.

BTW, the implementation based on common clk struct had also been finished and reviewed with Jeremy.
