Whoever is the admin for the Linaro git repos would need to make some changes to the apache config files for the git repo. Thanks to Eric Miao and Paul Collins this is now enabled on git.linaro.org and gitweb should now be publishing the http urls too.
Would someone please test and let me know the outcome of that test?
