Summary -  Kan created seperate AAC encoder lib from Android aac encoder.Talking to sourceforge opencore-amr maintainers to see if they are willing to maintain opencore-aac encoder as well

Is opencore-* on sourceforge a better upstream than google aosp? Whats the background on this?

If not, you can also stage in git.linaro.org android/platform from where we would include this in our Android LEB images, work on benchmarks with you and upstream to google.
