Can you think of a way we could distinguish between these readers? I don't want us to start tracking USB reader vendor information, but maybe they expose some SDHC bit, or have SDHC in their description instead of MMC or...? Maybe the good readers perform at higher speeds and we could do a speed test and refuse to work with slow readers?
So I would say the result not only depends on the cards but also readers.
