Other then the discussion on linux-usb that found it and mentioned it should be reverted, i haven't seen a direct revert request yet to linus....
Yea, I just sent mail to the patch author to clarify if there is a fix pending or if it should be reverted. Hopefully we can get this sorted quickly, apparently the issue has been around since -rc1.
