I'm looking for a copy of the ddeb (ie the debug info) for the omap kernel in the 1105 release. That used to be here:
http://ddebs.ubuntu.com/pool/universe/l/linux-linaro-omap/linux-image-2.6.38...
but unfortunately the archive expired it last night.
Does anybody happen to have a copy lying around that they could send me?
(Also can we sort this out so we stop expiring the ddebs, at least for our release kernels?)
Thanks in advance -- PMM

Not me.

I wasn't even aware that our kernel ppa builds ddebs (or even could).
We can't easily fix the expiry, sorry.
The Launchpad team have this in there queue to implement properly, so it will be go to, but not soon.
I suggest that you grab them frequently if you want them.
Thanks,
James

I ran into this again today. It looks like you're right and ppa kernel builds don't have ddebs. Is it possible to fix this? Trying to debug something without any debug info is about an order of magnitude more tedious...

Yes, it's possible, and it's in the Launchpad team's queue to fix. It won't be available immediately, as there is a fair amount of work to do. I don't have an ETA, but they are committed to fixing it at this point.
Thanks,
James

Cool. Thanks for the update.
