u-boot-linaro-stable is a downstream tree, where as the DENX u-boot [1] is the upstream git repo. Ideally you should target the upstream tree for preparing your patches.

Nevertheless, if the patch is of specific interest to Linaro, Fathi can apply this patch to u-boot-linaro-stable tree.
